Wines from the Mosel

The Mosel valley is home of many of the worlds finest Rieslings. Slopes as steep as 70%, dark shist soils, plenty of sunshine and large temperature differences between day and night guarantee perfect ripening conditions for the Queen of all white wines. 2000 years ago, the Romans already used the best and steepest vineyards to produce the wine that was the grease of their empire. In addition to Rieslings you can also find excellent Pinot Noirs, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc wines. The region is well known for its world class sweet wines. World of Boutique Wines exports wines from Albert Kallfelz, Peter Jostock, Heymann-Löwenstein, Saar-Mosel-Winzersekt (SMW), Dr. Wagner (VDP) and the famous Wegeler vineyards (you find more information on each vineyard in the menu on the left).
